We have been arranging our own day excursion programme for over 25 years and have a choice of two pick up routes.

ROUTE 1      Derby City Centre, Chaddesden, Oakwood, Stanley and Stanley Common, West Hallam, Kirk Hallam and         Ilkeston        See below for our present programme of tours listed in date order.

ROUTE 2      Shipley, Langley Mill, Heanor, Loscoe, Codnor and Ripley.  Click here for details

The programmes are updated approximately every two months  -  so keep checking for new dates and tours.

To reserve seats on one of our excursions please telephone us at our office 0115 932 5332 which is open Monday - Friday   9.00am  -  5.00pm. Your seats are then allocated and held for 7 days. Payment may be made over the telephone by all major credit and debit cards, by sending a cheque by post, or call in at our office to pay.

Set in a 17 acre site the NATIONAL COAL MINING MUSEUM is a unique collection of buildings and displays which reveal the hidden world of mining, telling the stories of mining methods and machinery, the miners and their families. Descend 140m underground, follow your ex-miner guide through the chilly, dark tunnels to find out how coal was mined and moved to the surface. (Children under 5 years not permitted under ground).

In the afternoon we travel to the village of HOLMFIRTH, the location for BBC’s “Last of the Summer Wine” series.
