We have been arranging our own day excursion programme for over 25 years and have a choice of two pick up routes.

Route 1    Derby City Centre, Chaddesden, Oakwood, Stanley and Stanley Common, West Hallam, Kirk Hallam and              Ilkeston                Click here for details

The programmes are updated approximately every two months  -  so keep checking for new dates and tours,

To reserve seats on one of our excursions please telephone us at our office 0115 932 5332 which is open Monday - Friday   9.00am  -  5.00pm. Your seats are then allocated and held for 7 days. Payment may be made over the telephone by all major credit or debit cards, by sending a cheque by post, or call in at our office to pay .

BLISTS HILL VICTORIAN TOWN MUSEUM, IRONBRIDGE

Costumed staff give a fascinating insight into Victorian life at the Bank, Grocers, Bakery, Chemist and School. The Incline Lift and Narrow Gauge Mine Railway remind us of the industrial heritage of Ironbridge.

IRONBRIDGE and BENTHALL HALL (NT) Spend free time in Ironbridge and then take the short ride to BENTHALL HALL, a handsome 16th Century house and garden situated on a plateau above the River Severn gorge. (No café or shop facilities at the Hall)

MIDSOMER MURDER COUNTRY  -  DARE YOU GO !!!

Join our professionally guided tour of TV and film locations in the beautiful Chiltern Hills and Thames Valley -  the tour includes sites from Midsomer Murders, The Vicar of Dibley, Dad’s Army, Four Weddings and a Funeral, etc. Our first stop will be in Old Amersham where there will be time to buy an early lunch before meeting our guide. There will also be chance to buy light refreshments later in the afternoon.

THE ANDERTON CANAL BOAT LIFT near Northwich, Cheshire

Take a relaxing canal cruise along the Weaver Navigation to Northwich Town Swing Bridge, returning for a guided tour through the Anderton Boat Lift, a working engineering marvel of the waterways built in 1875. The Visitor Centre includes an exhibition, the operators control centre and a cafeteria.

MANCHESTER SHIP CANAL CRUISE. Travel by coach to Seacombe and then join the 6 hour, 35 mile cruise along the Manchester Ship Canal to Salford Quays. A lively commentary reveals the facts, history and dramas of this major British waterway. Return home by coach from Salford.

Drinks and hot and cold snacks are sold on the ferry but you are also allowed to take your own picnic.
