NORFOLK and the THURSFORD CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR Hotel De Paris, Cromer 19th - 22nd November 2010 The Christmas Spectacular at Thursford is one of the most exciting Christmas shows ever - it mixes Christmas songs, carols, dazzling dancers, beautiful costumes outstanding music and singing from a cast of over one hundred. Each show is a pageant of spectacle and colour and the music a seamless transition from an up-beat dance routine to a choral rendition of a Christmas carol. Depending on our show time at Thursford this itinerary might be subject to slight changes Hotel de Paris (www.alfatravel.co.uk) is a delightful hotel, occupying the finest position in Cromer, close to the shops and historic parish church and directly overlooking the pier and beach. Friday 19th Drive down to Cromer, an attractive seaside resort situated on low cliffs overlooking Norfolk’s fine sandy beaches. En-route to Cromer we shall call at King’s Lynn an historic port boasting medieval riverside storerooms and elegant merchants’ houses, as well as more modern shopping facilities. Saturday 20th A day excursion to Norwich to explore its fine Cathedral, Castle, some of its many ancient churches or do a little Christmas shopping. There will also be an optional ride on the Bure Valley Railway, a narrow gauge steam railway which runs between Aylsham and Wroxham. Cost approx. £7.50 Sunday 21st A free morning for you to explore Cromer, followed by an early cooked lunch at the Hotel de Paris. We then take the short drive to Thursford and the Christmas Spectacular, returning in time for dinner at the hotel. (Lunch and show included in holiday price) Monday 22nd Return home after a leisurely breakfast.
